FS17/FS19 Mods just released
Hello thank you for your quick answer, vehicles from this MOD John Deere R-Series Pack by BC6 2.5.0 If the tyres ar getting dirty it cause huge FPS drop, If tyres are clean then no problem.
-I have confirmed that they do actually work. The body's change color at half the speed of the wheels/tracks btw. It can be less noticeable if the dirt amount is low. To confirm you can open your vehicles.xml in your savegame and set the dirtAmount to 1.0 then you'll be able to see the current dirt color better.
Here's the Fendt:
-If the tires getting dirty causes a drop in FPS after installing "Real Dirt Color" try resetting the vehicle.
-The vehicle's specializations aren't 100% correct. (This includes using "parent" when defining a new vehicle type.)
-Issues like these are most likely due to improper wheel setup in the i3d file and/or how the parts are listed in the wheels.xml. For example, if you have no "innerRim" or "outerRim" parts and are only using the "tire" you will most likely have issues. Set up/split your parts, nodes and references to match how Giant's has them done (non mods), if this is done you shouldn't have any issues given they're using the right shader ("dirtColor" should be a parameter in the shader).
*A backup solution is to set the vehicle to use simpleMode, the how-to is in the "Readme.txt" file included with "Real Dirt Color".
